The system is organized into six main categories, or “Headings” as per the official EU terminology, covering a total of 42 funding programs, each with its own set of sub-programs. For instance, within the main category of "Cohesion, Resilience and Values," there are 15 different funding programs, including the Erasmus+ program, which itself offers over 20 distinct sub-programs.
